Ice Hockey Team Wins

• The Atholton Raiders Ice Hockey Team won 3-1 over 1st Place Marriotts Ridge on Friday, (2/3) in a Howard Conference rematch at the Gardens Ice House in Laurel. Goals by Zach Michels and Avery Shepherd (2), assists by Nick Bogdash, Jake Mills(2), Brandon Potter, Jack Hughes, and Evan Davis. This win leaves us in a tie with Marriotts Ridge for 1st place by record. However, Marriotts Ridge retains 1st place due to the tie-breaker rules (we had more penalty minutes in Head to Head games). Our first playoff game is on Thursday 2/16 at 4:20pm at the Gardens Ice House and we will host the winner of River Hill (3) vs 6 (TBD) game. Come out and cheer us on

Spring 2012 Try-Outs will begin on March 1st

2012 Summer Camps - final details being worked out

• The summer camp dates this year will be dependent upon the school renovation schedule. The details are being finalized and we hope to have information posted very soon. Updates will be made on the Summer Camps page as they become available.

Graduating Raider Football Players to play at the College Level

• As posted on the Atholton Raider Nation Facebook page: The following Atholton Raiders will attend college and play football at the following schools next year: Kenny Thomas (Penn); Paul Federinko (Lafayette), Ean Katz (Maryland), Brian McMahon (Maryland), Steve Whiting (THE Bowie State), Austin Tennessee (Concord) and Ian Wadell to Wagner. More to come. Thanks to the kids and parents for making these opportunities possible.
