Atholton High School Summer Booster Camps
- The Atholton High School Athletic Boosters are sponsoring a variety of summer sports camps at Atholton High School for the summer of 2012.
- Camps include: soccer, field hockey, volleyball, football, track and field, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis, and dance.
- The camps are instructed by the talented coaching staff at Atholton High School. Each camp is designed to assist in the development of young athletes in a fun and safe environment.
- NOTE: The age ranges for the camps include incoming 3rd graders thru incoming 9th graders (except for Dance camp which goes up to 18 years old).

Atholton Playoff News
- Baseball
- Raider Varsity Baseball blanked Howard 5-0 in the 3A East playoffs 1st round before coming up short 5-3 against Reservoir on 15 May. The Raiders took an early 3-0 lead but were unable to build on it.
- Boys Lacrosse
- Varsity Boys LAX beat Northeast in 1st round of playoffs on 11 May. In the second round, they lost to Marriotts Ridge (14 May) in a rematch from 2 weeks ago. The boys played a tough game but MR was able to squeeze out a few extra goals here and there to make the final 11-5.
- Girls Lacrosse
- Varsity Girls LAX lost 13-9 to Centennial in 1st round of playoffs on 11 May.
- Softball
- The Atholton Lady Raiders varsity softball team season game to an end on 10 May with a 12-10, extra-inning playoff loss to River Hill. The Lady Raiders rallied with 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to tie the game, 10-10. Amanda Petersen started the rally with a double, Rachel Bell followed with a single, and Gina D'Asto and Nikki Martin each had RBI singles. Senior Gabby Nowicki had the clutch hit with a 2 RBI single to even the score. However, River Hill bounced back with 2 more runs in the top of the 8th and the Lady Raiders could not muster another comeback. The Lady Raiders finished with 9 wins and 8 losses in conference play and were 9-10 overall.
Raiders Varsity Tennis Team Nabs County Championship
- Congratulations to the Atholton Raiders Varsity Tennis Team for their incredible win at the county championships this year. Last year, we lost the cup by 0.5 to River Hill, this year was a whole different story. We're sure Coach Ashmead will be smiling when he picks up the cup from River Hill this week. Representing Atholton and Howard County at the Regional Championships (starting Thursday) are: Victoria Kogan, Scott Master Lee, Rachel Knobel, Margaret Tatum, Zach Kim, and Charles Mao. Great job Raiders!

Atholton Girls Tennis Team Wins First County Title Since 2006
- The Atholton ladies tennis team finished the regular season 16-1 to clinch its first county title since 2006
- The Raiders defeated Glenelg and River Hill twice, each time by a 3-2 score.
- Atholton's only loss this year was to Centennial, 3-2, on April 24.
- The team was led by undefeated freshman Victoria Kogan; Jenna Sweet who only lost once; and the top doubles team of junior Rachel Knobel and sophomore Margaret Tatum.

Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma
- Please join the Atholton High School Lettermen Club and SGA as they sponsor the 2nd Scleroderma Foundation Greater Baltimore 5K Walk/Run on May 19th at the Atholton High School Track. Coach Schmitt's goal is to have 20 football players involved in the event.

Saturday Mornings with Nick Campanaro
