AHS Athletic Boosters Appropriations

The boosters raise funds to help purchase awards, supplies, equipment, uniforms, and capital items in support of the AHS Athletic program. The boosters have donated to the county-wide effort to bring lights to all county stadiums and contributed to the school's new basketball electric hoops. Some of the boosters appropriations have also helped fund significant improvements to the Atholton fitness center (see below for more details) and provided for field/bench improvements for the girls' softball fields.

AHS Fitness Center Renovation

Through the outstanding support of volunteers, the Atholton Athletic Boosters and Fitness Center Committee, we are proud to announce thBoosters and Fitness Center Committee, we are proud to announce the completion of the Atholton High School Fitness Center Renovation project. The renovation project was a multi-year effort to rebuild the high school's fitness center and bring it up to the standards that exist in neighboring Howard County high schools. It includes technology, sound, aerobic and strength training equipment, as well as other features as approved by the Athletic Department and Board of Education. Your donations played a vital role in building a facility that will be the center of the Atholton fitness curriculum, and will be a platform for after-school fitness programs to develop student conditioning. Our goal was to provide a facility that will give Atholton High School students the edge to compete in all sports for years to come.

Even though the renovation is complete, there are still costs associated with keeping the fitness center up-to-date for the students. If you would like to make a tax-deductable contribution to assist in this effort, you can click on the button below to donate online.
