  • May 12: AWARDS CEREMONY MON. MAY 12 - ALL WELCOME (even if you did not make reservations for the banquet beforehand)

 

  • May 17: Thursday Night Live! Student Produced Plays & Improv, 7:30PM

 

  • NEW IMPROV ~ Howard County Howard County Public Schools are proud to announce a new interscholastic theatre event: an all Howard County improv group that will meet weekly with Bruce Nelson, and then perform at the Howard County Theatre Festival, and perhaps some other events as well. Participants must be recommended by me and have parent permission and only then may they audition for Mr. Nelson.  Check out the attached documents, remind the right people to pay attention, and let me know right away (but BEFORE May 7) if you are interested~!!   • END OF YEAR - THESPIAN INFO NEEDED ~ If you participated in our productions this year, please complete the attached form and return it to Mr. Rosen no later than Tues., April 22.This form will determine honors such as invitations to join the
    International Thespian Society as well as AHS Drama certificates,
    letters, pins, and bars, presented at our drama banquet, The Grand
    Finale, on Monday, May 12. Membership in good standing in ITS is required to be able to wear a ITS Drama Cord at graduation. Please share this message with anyone who ought to complete the form. Drama Prodcution Record 08
     
  • SENIOR SLIDE SHOW ~ ATTENTION SENIORS (And Their Parents) Please send photos of your theater career to Stephanie Gurwitz Zurier (sgurwitz1@verizon.net) so that they may be included in the Senior Slide Show at the Drama Awards Ceremony, May 12.

AHS Drama has a very full schedule for the 2007-08 school year. Please check this website carefully, all information distributed to students is posted here. The new calendar for the 2007-2008 school year is NOW POSTED.

Calendars - This page has the complete AHS Drama 2007-2008 Season which lists productions, auditions, drama performances  plus Boosters' meetings, music department performances, and school related events.  Rehearsal schedules will be posted on the specific show page.

PLAN TO GET INVOLVED   There are many ways to get involved in the drama programs at AHS. Some opportunities are only for the students enrolled in the Drama classes and other opportunities are for all students. For more information:
